Switching tunes & Boost control with A/C button
I've read Hondata's website and search here and googled. Maybe I'm not searching the right keyword, so I thought I would ask.
I know you can switch between two separate tunes and between high/low boost settings using the "B5 ACS Air Conditioning Switch" in the S300. I'm liking the idea of this one button for both/hidden look.
Question:
1.) To actually get it to work do I need to wire anything up or can I just select that switch option in the S300 SManager?
2.) I'm assuming that the same switch option can control both things that I stated at the same time correct?
3.) Will the tunes & boost remain switched as long as the A/C button on the dash is pressed no matter what? Mainly because I've noticed that if you push the button in without the fan set to either the 1,2,3, or 4 positions then the light on the A/C button will not light up. I'd assume without the A/C button light on that means it wouldn't activate the switch and the S300 would think it shouldn't switch tunes. Sooo would I have to be running the fan in the 1-4 position in order to have the A/C button activate?
Thanks for any input

Re: Switching tunes & Boost control with A/C button (Dunc)
I replied on SRD, but for anyone else that needs to know
1. You have to remove or cut the factory wire coming from pin B5 at the ECU run a new wire from pin B5 to a swith that is connected to a ground.
2. The switch will control anything in the software that is set to ACSW
3. The factory AC switch cannot be used in its conventional way, the wires on the AC switch itself go through several other components before returning to the ECU. If you want to use the factory ac switch it requires a lot of reworking.
hope this helps
