The seller convinced me to get JG Proseries instead; he said JG makes better ones then supertech but there customer service is just HORRRIBLE but he has the set in stock.

holy **** this thread is filled with a bunch of mis info
supertech does not make ferrea
totally wrong. they might come from the same plant in argintina, but super tech doesnt just rebadge it and give it to ferrea
JG has the HORRIBLE service. they are in alot of debt. there are a **** LOAD of horror stories of people getting screwed over by them. search around and you can find out some more info
super tech has excelent service. Ive talked with the north america distributor several times. Supertech had some problems with mushrooming valves tips about 1-2 years ago. but they fixed the problem and replaced valve sets for free to anyone who had a problem with them
its REV valves that have bad customer service. I was lied to many times by them and it took forever to get replacement valves sent to me.
I dont know that much about the supertech springs and retainers. I know a few people that use them. If i was interested in either jg or supertech I would call up to each mfg and talk with them about their products.

I can prolly guess who is trying to sell you those parts
if he says "cause leslie durst runs it" it does not mean that it is designed for a street daily driven setep. leslie runs a 290+whp race motor that goes alot higher rpm than you will ever see on purpose.
dont think that because some pro racer runs a part, that it great for your application. sometimes it is, and sometimes it isnt.
you really need to do your research about what it good and bad. talk with head porters that know their **** and sell/install 2-10 sets of valves/valve springs a month
they prolly have flow tested different valves, and tested the spring both in the shop and on the dyno
there is way more to a good spring/valves/retainer than if it lasts a bunch of miles. just cause it works, doesnt mean its the best product for you.

They are both made in Argentina, but supertech do not make Ferrera valves. I dont even think they are made in the same plant. But I think that both companies are both on the same street from what Ive been told, Supertech and Fererra that is.

gee earl, someone needs to write valves 101 or just valve basics.
most people dont even know what a backcut is and that its beneficial
