id keep the tranny you have, dont get a LS you will regret it
id say if your gonna go the S/C route get a Vortech. make sure you have some damn good tuning your motor has higher compression

yeah, i wasnt sure if i needed the longer gears that turbo setups need. also im still a bit iffy with the S/C because not alot of people have them so i may just do bottom end work and rip it up all motor for now
