hey i'm doing the same thing, i have a jrsc and a aem short ram. i'm about to buy the kamikaze 4-1 headers. i'm not a honda guru but if you are gonna buy a jrsc, plan to spend some money on injectors (at least 350cc, i have mitsubishi eclipse gst ones). a decent cat-back exhaust wouldn't hurt but don't hurt your wallet. hit me back on your build and i can tell you my progress also.

Get the necessary things first - injectors (310cc or larger), ems (hondata, ectune, etc), fuel pump (190lph will be fine), OEM honda plug wires, ngk copper plugs (gap them properly). Then think about extras like header, exhaust, larger pulleys, etc.

One thing you might need is a shroud for your fan, or a name-brand fan. Cheap ebay fans are fine for stock motors, but any time you boost them, their ineffectiveness becomes painfully obvious. Honestly if you have the room left, keep the stock fan. You'd be surprised at how well it can do VS a slim fan (w/o full shroud).
