zirgo fan advice
i am looking for slim fan high cfm for my h22 turbo,
i found the zirgo fan 14" (half size rad) they have with 2122cfm and 2750cfm.
because only the 2122 is sold on ebay and the 2750 is expensive with shipment to my country on the net.
i think on buying the 14" 2122cfm will it be ok?
anyone using it and have heat problems?
Thanks!

Re: zirgo fan advice
From what what Ive seen/read from other user's and set-ups here a shroud and radiator placement can really lower the temps further than just a stronger fan. A stronger fan couldn't hurt but depending on your set-up you could just be putting a band-aid on the real problem.
Post up some spec's and pic's and we can point you in the right direction.

Re: zirgo fan advice
500hp 1.4bar temp goes up after strong pulls this start happened only after i replaced my fan to mishimoto 14" looks like the 950cfm one. Replaced because it melted and sticked on DP (car never heated) . Dp is now warrped. And the mishimoto is not doing the job.
I prefer to buy good and strong fan once and this zirgo look like a good choice.

Re: zirgo fan advice
Thanks!
I know Spal has good fans but this zirgo is rated for more CFM then spal,
And price for zirgo is lower then the spal.
on paper and from price zirgo is the one to choose but i need to know from some one who use it if it good as written..??

Yea.....gotta be careful though...if it sounds too good to be true usually it is...id do it right the first time and use whats proven to work...if the fan truly flows more at a cheaper cost then im sure someone around here has ran the fan before and can give a opinion on the matter..time will tell but its always a good idea to do it right the first time! Im sure someone will chime in with more info on that fan from personal use eventually.

Re: zirgo fan advice
These fans look pretty nice... im probably going to get one soon because my 12" eBay fan is working its *** off right now to keep my car cool.
I cant seem to find a 2750cfm one on eBay, just the ~2100cfm ones. Looks like I can get them for around $65

Re: zirgo fan advice
its been so long i dont remember if its the 2122 or the larger one bt 2100 cfm is more then enough for a honda. technically when driving you should have enough airflow to keep the engine running cool without the fan, fans are for slow speeds and when not moving at all. if your overheating with this fan and driving then you have other issues

Re: zirgo fan advice
Overheating is only after pulls when stending or very slow ride i am almost sure this is the reason because only after replacing the fan to mishimoto this issue started.

Re: zirgo fan advice
well it could be combustion getting into the coolant passage too BUT if it immediatly started after installing the mishimoto fan then yes it probably just fan related. Believe me the zirgo or the spal will do you right. my 14" zirgo moves ALOT of air i mean A LOT !! when parked it blows the dirt around on the gounrd from under the car and clears off the pavement lol

Re: zirgo fan advice
I wired my zirgo to the stock plug and upped the fuse to 20 amps, nevr had an issue. Im sure with larger wiring and a relay it would flo more CFM though
