supercharger cam
looking for a cam for my D16 boosted with a jrsc, i've been told that the turbo cams are not the same.. which really doesn't make any sense to me, maybe someone can explain the difference too between a cam built for turbo and a cam built for sc.

what's your definition of high power? I plan on hitting about 300 on a D16 sc, still for dd- any cam you would recomend?

Im using the endyn rebuilt charger, endyn was able to get 478hp on a d16 with a rebuilt jackson racing sc. I want to keep with D series.. to many B's out there, plus D's are cheap!

Search and find out how long the ultra-hyped 450+ HP capable endyn blowers have been promised to the market, same with the modded B-series blowers, and find out how many people have actually recieved one.

im not shooting for 450+ hp, like i said earlier in the thread im going for 300 atleast and im going to get this using the M45 JRSC. The civic that endyn created used the M62 charger, and if you knew anything, you would know that he actually built 5 of these for consumers, and they just ran out of them about a month ago. So if you don't know what you're talking about keep your mouth shut, you really look like a fool.

If you think an eaton M62 will support 480 horsepower even when modded I have a great car to sell you, it's a 99 SI with a stock greddy kit and 440CC DSM injectors, just did 700 WHP on low boost...... M112 blowers (for you math impaired, that's nearly TWICE the size of an M62) need to be totally ported and some other mods to support in the neighbourhood of 500 RWHP on 03/04 Cobras. If you think an M62 will do 480 HP, or that an M45 will do 300 HP you're in for a rude awakening.
Since you have such concrete proof that endyn actually made 5 of these ultra mega high powered blower kits, why don't you post up some info about them or the cars they're running on? Don't pull some **** out like "Well Larry told me over the phone...." because I can tell you over the phone that I have a 12 foot ****, but it doesn't mean I'm out there breaking down walls with it. Concrete proof, not some endyn vaporware ****.
For the record, I believe rmcdaniels has the highest powered JRSC setup on here - just a touch over 300 WHP on a high compression, stroked, tall-deck 2.1L B-series dart motor with a very well ported head. If you can push a little 1.6 to those same power levels with a poorly flowing D-series head, let me know

Well the car that he (SiRay13) has right now on the gtech was about 160 hp.
He bought a boat load of **** ( including rollerwave pistons and eagle rods)for the motor and he sent a blower I had laying around to Endyn. Also he sent in his head to have it ported. 300hp isn't that much unless you guys only measure at the wheels.
With enough boost and PROPER TUNING you can have 300hp.
Mind you this is all going in and on a motor in his shop.
Not the one in his car.

I'm not being snooty but I was just wondering how a turbo pressurizes the exhaust more so thatn a SC?

Well his goal is 300 but 250 is no slouch either.
Myself, I don't care what the peak is. It's the power under the curve that matters.
Also I like lots of low end torque.
He doesn't have the motor built yet but it will be a fun project and the results should be awesome.

(from what i read/heard) too bad larry bought back the $10,000 supercharged motor from "that guy", under the condition that "he" won't talk about his experience with endyn....or the op would know what everyone is talking about...
