Supercharged and turbocharged?
Yes... I am asking something crazy, but if theres a will theres a way. To start off, the engine is a b20, resleeved and block guarded, forged pistons and rods, a b16a head, ported and polished. Now to the f/i, a jackson racing supercharger, at about 6 psi, for that instant torque delivery, but only 6 psi to keep the higher rev psi down for the turbo. The turbo will be a T3 or T4, just enough boost to kick in at about 3500 - 4000 rpm, and boost to about 8-10psi by max revs of around 8000rpm. From what i know the turbo psi will be the only pressure going into the engine after about 6000rpm as the flood valve on the blower will cick in, so its not like having an engine that starts of boosting to 6psi then has another boost to 14-16psi, its more like an engine that grunts to 4000rpm, then boosts to about 10psi at 8000rpm.
Now that all the idea is on page here comes the gritty...
Can you even put pressure into the jr blower? or should the turbo air be directed through a port on the side of the jr blower manifold, that way you miss the blower, but could put huge stress on the mani, and backpresssure on the charger. The other thing is in order to keep the temp down i probably only need to intercool the turbo air, as the charger will be a bitch to cool, and the turbo air comes in at about 4000rpm anyway. And what about ecu, is this even possible or should i run two ecu?
That is a post and a half...
but emagine the power, torque and fuel economy if it all comes together
enjoy

Re: Supercharged and turbocharged? (94typeR)
That is great at least i know it has been done, kind of gives some hope to the project and if it is even worth starting... Thanks man, oh and if you know the name of the magazine or anything that would be great.
