Re: Supercharged D16 (billyrocka66)
No, no one has ever supercharged a D series. Thats just silly. But if you did, I'm sure you could run some where between 6psi and elevendy billion pounds of boost, depending on tune and what not

Re: Supercharged D16 (Jeffescortlx)
They have supercharged D16s before because there are a few Jackson Racing Supercharger setups for D16s for sale on Ebay, used.

Re: Supercharged D16 (MassScene)
Why is it so impossible for people to believe that there are people out there supercharging D16s? Jackson makes it brand new! Is it that everyone is so used to turbos that they think a blower can't possibly work?

Nope. I put one on my old 93 EX. It wouldn't start afterwards. The engine was trying to spin the wrong direction when I was done. Jackson told me they had this problem before and they were researching a work around at the time. I just got mad and removed it. Worked fine then.

Re: Supercharged D16 (Hybrid93Eg)
the one on ebay looks good as far as design. it has the manifold runners that bolt to the engine already on it. In Sport Compact magazine, they put one on a new si and it made stupid amounts of torque. I know that's a dual cam engine, but they do have 'em for the D's.

Re: Supercharged D16 (AIRIC)
Thank you AIRIC. At least somebody here can find real facts and not be biased on what happened when they couldn't make something work!

billyrocka66,
alot of people supercharged their d16 and then get pissed because they still dont have any power and sell the kit on ebay and buy a turbo.
d16 and superchargers just dont get along well together. do some searching in the archives for more information.
platinum.

Its a fact that it wont work. Your engine will blow upon startup from the mad instant jdm boost. Better get a v8 to handle that ****.

Do a search, Duh!
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1214810
In that thread you'll find almost 190 pages of JRSC info for both D and B series. Don't be so damned lazy.
