Supercharged B20Z dyno
A good friend of mine went to dyno his Jackson Racing Supercharged B20Z Integra. The dyno graph shows an old dyno before supercharger (blue line) and the new dyno w/supercharger (red line). In case anyone can't read the numbers, it says 138 fwhp 131 lb-ft torque (blue line). 157 fwhp 137 lb-ft torque (red line). The second supercharged dyno (not shown) made 160 fwhp 138 lb-ft torque after decreasing the fuel pressure.

The numbers are kinda horrible if you asked me. I would expect atleast much better torque numbers. Is he running an FMU provided by Jackson Racing?

Wow, are you sure something isn't wrong? Those numbers are really bad. I really don't know alot about the JRSC, but you may want to have someone who does check out your setup, as those numbers are terrible.

What are you using to control the ignition timing? Is the IAT relay hooked up? Something doesn't look quite right. My JRSC'd B16A2 went from 100wtq to 130wtq...he gained almost no peak torque.
The "management" that comes with the JRSC kit is pretty lame, but it is even more lame if not properly hooked up.

Yes, he is using the JR FMU. He isn't sure what the problem is. Somebody told him to get a S-AFC to do more tuning so he probably going to buy one.

I see the problem here..your running too rich up to. I say upgrade to either uberdata or hondata, and tune that bish!

We noticed that on the first dyno pull. So my friend decreased the fuel pressure and on the 2nd dyno pull (not shown) the A/F was around 15.0-14.5 from 1k to 4k RPM and about 14.0 from 4.5k RPM to redline.

in the red still looks like your a/f is still running in the 10's in the 5800-6500 range it might be high 10's low 11's but i would suggest hondata , uberdata to tune

thats not safe at all, thats even a bit high for n/a, i would get uberdata, or maybe even neptune if someone around you has it, and get a real tune put on that, with a good tune id expect a 30 more #'s of torque and more hp, n/a b20s with a vtec head pull more horsepower then that

First it was too rich and then the 2nd pull was on the lean side. I guess he should ditch the JR FMU and go with Hondata or Uberdata? What would be a good A/F ratio for him 13.0-12.0?

high 11's are always good safe numbers to shoot for in full boost
