Default Supercharged B20

After many months of deciding, I think I have finally choosen what setup I will but
into my integra. I plan on swapping in a b20 and supercharging it via a jrsc kit for a gsr/type R. I know the kit will not mount without a few modifications, but I have already taken care of that. I choose to do the gsr kit for a larger blower and more boost. I also chose to go with a supercharger because I do alot of driving, and reliability is at the top of my list. So now that the background is out of the way, here are my questions.
1. What is the ideal compression for a jrsc at 10psi?
2. Should I build my block to handle 10psi, or just tune it?(I plan to tune either way)
3. What else can I do to the motor to make my 96' ls a solid 13 second car on street tires?

Any info or suggestions would be great! Thanks

1. you can stay a stock compression.
2. you dont have to but you can if you want too. Get it TUNED.
3. get traction.

Oh yeah i hope you dont have a LEAD Foot cuz if you do, you will Over heat that JRSC and thats a NO NO! It doesnt like heat. Trust me i know.

They all went Turbo

No really though, leave the motor stock, get a nice free flowing header, get it tuned and it should make some descent power.

Couple years ago I had a b20 Vtec with m62 JRSC, it was fun for like a week Then I started saving for my Turbo Kit.

Good luck, theres still a few supercharged guys around, bump for you.

If a lead foot is a bad thing then I am screwed! How about 8psi? Would that be a little more reliable?

I was doing this project because I thought it would be cheaper that a turbo, but I am beginning to think again? What do you guys think? I only have about 3500 to work with.

for 3500 you could get a drag kit and upgrade the fuel management.

Also why get a gsr/itr sc kit unless you are going b20vtec? isnt there a specific kit for b20 or ls?

Personally i would go with a ls swap and boost it.

heat is prolly your big factor...

if you can afford the jrsc intercooler... that would be good.. the water injection helps but what happends when you run out of water...?

MOST water injection systems know when they are out of water. Like the water injection system my team makes for the EVO VIII. It changes setting to work with out it. Get it?

Also the amount of water you use is not much at all... like top the tank off ever time you gas...

Water Injection RULES.

why go water injection if you can go air to water on it and be free of having to stop and topping off the water... plus im pretty sure air to water intercooler for that prolly is more efficient... just a suggestion.. but... the cost factor is prolly 2x more for air to water
