Ok well im planning on doing a supercharged single cam vtec. what cam is best used for this setup? stock or aftermarket? anything would help. thanks
If it's a JDM D15B VTEC like the engine I got, you're gonna have a hard time trying to source a 'proper' cam for the head...I'm not sure if anyone has successfully made one or if anyone has come across one that works at all but in my search months back I got no results at all because the lift and duration plus lobes were totally different (most people just make the d15b non vtec and d16z6 camshafts...)
if it's a mini-me then it shouldnt be a problem!
post up more info as far as the setup you wanna use...get a better idea for cam wise...

the head on the D15B vtec is the same head as the D16Z6 it is just a little different cam profile, because its JDM the stock cam on the D15B is the best SOHC vtec cam as far as honda offers dont know about aftermarket, but the aftermarket D16Z6 cams should work

I heard Skunk 2 is pretty good for supercharged. But if a majority of yall say stock then im not going to waste my time on a Skunk 2 cam, just get a cam gear to get the timing right and whatnot. Its going to be USDM D15 out of a 1990 DX. With Y8 head, if that helps yall out any.
