Some of you may remember my run in with the detonation monster. I found a broken valve in #4. Which was lovely.
Now after even more careful inspection I have found that #2 piston melted, a little. I didn't even notice when I first inspected it, it is not drastic looking. Plus I was still getting good compression in that cylinder.

Anyways, would you all suggest a new set of pistons or just replace the melted one, IF the other 3 turn out to be fine.

If you just have a stock motor in your CRX you can get those all day long for $100-$150. You could probably even find someone giving one away. My friend sold his for $50 I think.

I have an LS w/ Arias low comp. slugs, stock bore. They want around $130 per piston. I can handle one. Not a whole set...again. Thanks for the feedback.
