Default Suggestions

Yeah I know... I should do a search! :D

So im getting part of a used greddy kit! Basicly the turbo, manifold and a custom 2.5" downpipe! Im planning on slowly buying the stuff I need and install the king next summer!

I know I need...
injectors
Fuel Pump
BOV
Intercooler
Custom piping
2.5" exhaust

But I really dont know what fuel management I should get?!

Im really not looking to boost more then 7psi!!! So I dont think I need one of those super expensive kind of setup?!

Should I simply get a used greddy blue box for cheap?! Or you have better suggestions?!

I'm using the Vortech 12:1 FMU, and loving it. If you are going to be getting the injectors (Which ones? 450cc DSM's? 310's?) then I would suggest a SAFC and it will help. The 12:1 will work with an otherwise stock system, but I would use the SAFC w/ FPR for the injectors and new fuel pump.

No. I definately recommend at least a new fuel pump. If you don't want to do the injectors right now though, and are looking for a cheaper system that works the FMU w/ 255lph fuel pump will work.

If you want to go w/ the upgraded injectors, I would suggest the S-AFC. It gives a lot better control over the system than the FMU, but if you're on a budget it can be held off for a little bit.

For the price of an FMU, SAFC, and high flow pump..I'd rather have a Hondata 2b. Bandaids are just a temporary solution..long term use and you're just asking for trouble.

If you're boosting, you need a new larger fuel pump...even if you go w/ the Hondata. If you go w/ the FMU, then no SAFC or injectors. If you are going w/ the injectors/SAFC, then no FMU.

New Walboro 255lph-$100 (New)
FMU-$100 (Used, everywhere)

Cheapest: $200

New Walboro 255lph-$100 (New)
Apex-I S-AFC-$250 (New)
DSM Green Tip Injectors-$75 (Used)
Resistor Box-$25 (Used)

Middle: ~$475

New Walboro 255lph-$100 (New)
Hondata 2b-$450 (Used)/$500 (New)
DSM Green Tip Injectors (You will still need these, in order to flow the required fuel that you are going to be tuning w/ the 2b)-$75 (Used)
Resistor Box-$25 (Used)

Most Expensive: ~$650

Depending on how much $$$ you are spending. I would suggest the middle, as that is what I am setting up. I am running on the stock fuel pump and injectors (Right now, until I get my SAFC in a week or so). It runs fine, but is a band-aide until I can get something better. The AFC hack w/ DSM injectos works very well for low/medium boost (<10psi) applications, and should work well for you.
