Stuttering...
It is a b18c5 that starts to stutter after being warmed up for 5-10 minutes. I have changed the plugs and wires but to no avail. I am doing the distributor cap and rotor as well as the fuel filter on Monday. When you push the gas it feels like it wants to go but just doesn't as it should. I feel like gases are building up almost as if it needs to "fart" and then after a while it finally goes normal. Any ideas? I am confused as to why it only does it after warming up...

Re: Stuttering...
Really? And what if that DOES fix it?
Just do the damn tune-up and stop wondering about what ifs and cross that bridge when you come to it. That's not how you troubleshoot car problems. I could play what if all day long.
Because after that I'm going to ask you to list everything about your turbo setup including your EMS and what your AFRs are reading during the stuttering.

Re: Stuttering...
Update:
I changed the cap and rotor. The previous cap did have cracks but unfortunately my stupid self overtightened and created new cracks on the new cap . I'll have to wait till Wednesday for a new one.
I also changed out the fuel filter and replaced my thermostat since it had been fluctuating just to get rid of that variable, which it did .
I am about to re-gap the plugs and then wait for the new cap.

Get the cap/rotor on, check the spark plug wires, make sure your base timing is correct, and pull the plugs/inspect them. Regap them if necessary, sounds like your gap is a little on the large side.
Also lol @ the farting b18c5

Re: Stuttering...
I just re-gapped the plugs and all were white except for cylinder 4, which was black. I am ordering a uego and will have it installed this weekend...
Also, it is now sounding like a Subaru as if I am not running on all cylinders. I have contacted a local to see if I can switch out the distributor with a known good one.

Hold up, man. Your distributor is working fine if it's firing all but one cylinder. Unless the rotor button isn't contacting the prong in the cap, not likely. Pull the number 4 that was black and check if it's getting spark. Sounds like that one wire is bad.

Re: Stuttering...
No, just a bad wire. But I'd replace all 4 of course. Check spark at the other 3 plugs to compare. Don't bother with checking any more at the cap lol.

Re: Stuttering...
Possibly but now it is stuttering all the time but I have a distributor to switch out, I'll also get other wires. If that doesn't fix it, I'll check ground connections and test my map sensor. I've been doing some research and starting to become paranoid of what it could be. Let's just hope it is indeed the distributor.

Re: Stuttering...
It was the distributor. I tried the locals and it has fixed the issue. Something I noticed on my old one was the one of the wires was disconnected or better yet just torn and obviously not making any connection. I have crimped those wires but have yet to put my distributor back on but at least I know what the issue is now. I appreciate everyone's contribution from the community .

Re: Stuttering...
I got mine running too..I think it was a combination of plug wires and ignition coil. After I replaced them, it fired right up
