after days of no anwsers, I seriously need to know, what the difference is or if there is a difference between a turbo off of a desiel and a turbo from a regular car.. b/c there is a guy in my town selling a turbo off of a Volvo, but im not sure if its from a desiel or not.. and he doesnt know much about it either.. i know its a T-3
and he only wants $75 for it.. but it needs rebuilt, so i dont know if i should get it or not? thanks in advance for any help..

 

BTW... it also has a built in wastegate and the mani comes with it...

The size of the turbo may be very different. As far as your application, I think you should research more before you buy ANYTHING. He may be selling a HUGE turbo that your honda would never spool up. The search option is your friend. There is an endless amount of information on this board. If you are too impatient to wait...just buy a kit. Good luck with your setup.

It may not fit your car. But the way i look at it, for 75 bucks you get a turbo, int WG, and manifold.... It might be something to buy (if its good) since it is cheap and sell on ebay for a quick 250 profit?

But other than making money off it, I dont think the manifold or turbo would fit your application.
