Default STUFFED TURBO?

whats the easiest way to diagnose a stuffed turbo? i have oil smoke in my tail pipe, but good compression in the engine, im thinking a blown turbo

check the compressor inlet, see if anything is stuffed in it.

there is a tiny tiny chip on the compressor wheel, and abit of oil. The smoke only happens when im boosting it. The centre shaft has no freeplay whatsoever though.

Could a chip in the compressor wheel cause the oil smoke?
