Stuff to seal a fitting on the fuel rail??
i have an AEM fuel rail I just stuck on my car and the bolt on the end tward the driver side has a very almost unnoticable leak... we are talking very tiny... but with any type of leak I don't want it....
i was told not to use teflon tape... and there is liquid stuff but i looked at autozone but dont know the name of it.. and the person I know locally that knows what it is isn't available...
fuel fitting thread type stuff??

Jake, I got your message.
Fuel rail install was easy, huh? I just used teflon tape to seal mine. I think as long as you wrap it counterclockwise so that it doesn't shred when you tighten it down, it will be okay. Put about 4-5 layers of tape on that bolt and I guarantee you won't be leaking anymore. Just make sure none of it is going to shred off to plug your injectors.

well yeah...liquid teflon is better, but for now the tape will work until you can find some of that stuff. I don't really know where to find it.

I used several wraps of teflon tape on the threads.. I think the fuel rail threads are long enough to cover the entire bolt/threads and teflon so none is sticking out. It seems to be not leaking... and i hope the above is true.. i dont want any chances of clogging up an injector and worse...
My AEM was the sam way. However, I noticed that t stil leaked with the liquid teflon. I ended up using a little bit of HondaBond.
