Studdering/boost cut!!?
was in my freinds car last night, it was a lil windy/chilly. every time we start from a lower rpm and right before it starts to hit boost at around 5500rpm it seems like its hitting boost cut but it doesnt do it like ussual. it will stop like a rev limiter but at a really slow rate, ussually when it boost cuts, it sounds like your hitting the rev limiter and goes really fast. but when we do it now it seems to move really slow to the boost cut point.
problems- he has a leaky o-ring and oil might be getting to his plugs, but this shoulndt be a problem
Most likely you need to gap the plugs down to about .024. I had a similar problem on the dyno when my plugs were gapped at .028, every time the car hit the crossover, it started breaking up similar to a rev limiter. It was blowing the spark out on me.

regap the plugs to a .25 what's happenning is the boost is spiking up and blowing the spark off the plugs.
You might also want to consider an aftermarkey external coil. Not entire ignition, but jsut replacing the stock coil. I run a msd blaster-ss and have no problems. but my stocker seened to be old and not putting enough voltage. once I moved to this coil, I was able to run decent gapping and not have problems with spark being blow off the plugs. It ran stronger and smoother.
hope this helps. good luck.
