Hey H-T just looking for some advice on my turbo selection. Looking to make 600-650whp. Im looking at either 6262 or BW s362 but am up to other ideas as well. Here is my build.
Motor
Ls stock bore
Darton sleeves
Wiseco 9:1 pistons
Eagle rods
Skunk2 im port matched
Skunk2 70mm throttle body
Ls crank
New bearings,oil pump,water pump
Head
Ls stock port
Supertech valvetrain
Crower 404's
Fuel
E85
Walbro 450
FIC 2150's
Havent bought a manifold yet but either going sheepy or rld fab. Havent chose between topmount or ramhorn. Any input would be awesome. Thanks a lot everyone

You may be in the upper level of what the eagle rods can handle. A stronger rod wouldn't be a bad idea for peace of mind.
Also there is more efficiency left on the table with that low of a compression ratio, especially on e85.

Is this going to be a street car? If so it's hard to make that much power responsive and enjoyable on the street unless you do nothing but highway pulls all day

Definately not a dd but yea i want to be able to run it on the street. I know it wont be the best thing to street drive but still want to have fun haha.
There's a 2.0l 4G63 Evo done by English Racing that made 670 - 680 whp with the S362 FMW and seemed to have good spoolup (its on Full-Race's site too)
A very similar thread was discussed not too long ago on here.
The general consensus on the other thread was that a GTX3576R will give you the most responsive 600 whp setup, but be limited to 600 whp even on a high efficiency engine.
If you want to make more than that then the 60 - 62mm inducer turbos are required, but they are paired with larger exhaust wheels so are subject to more lag.
The most common 650whp+ options are the following:
6262, HTA3582, HTA3586, GT3582, GTX3582, STC Reaper, Super HX40, BW S362 FMW and Comp Turbo's 6062 Billet and 6262 offerings

i think lightningteg hit 600whp on 30 psi with a 6262, b18b1.
600-650 on a ls is some serious power
ramhorn and top mounts typically make the same power... choose which ever you like better.

Lightningteg made 600+ on a Reaper.
Ricky Taylor(B23vtec) made 600+ on a 6262 at 29psi with a .63 housing before he put the Borg on it and broke the Ls record.

Wish i woulda went bigger on my bore but stuck with it now haha. I think im leaning more towards 6262 .82ar. I know its going to take a lot of boost to hit my goal. Guess ill see what happens hope to get it on the dyno early summer. Thanks for all the input guys i really appreciate it.
One of my good friends out in San Diego has a built 4G63t that runs 11's and he's running a BB Garrett GT35 with a Bullseye Power exhaust housing at 30psi and his 90 AWD Eclipse hits full boost at 4500RPM. His last dyno tune showed that he was around 511 AWHP.
Hell, the stock block 4G63t record is around 600whp. I was able to get my stock B18A1 with 160,000 miles on it to put down 256whp on an old stock T3 from a Dodge Daytona at 12 lbs with 450cc injectors, a FMIC, and a Zdyne Gold SECU back in the early 2000s and I was playing it safe.
