so i wanna do the ls rods with vitaras combo. i know people are gonna say "just buy forged ones" but im just looking for 275-300 cause anymore is too insane for me. dont need more speeding tickets. i got a set of ls rods laying around so yea guys help me out

the compression ratio with the ls rods/vitara combo is wayyy too low for me...anyone know of a quick fix to bump it up a full point? headgasket/ shaving head? anything to help

Buy the rods that up the comp.

shaving the head is probably the cheapest route.

 

And a good way to ruin it.

 

But really though... just get the FJT Rods/Vitara combo since they're inexpensive. I just completed a FJT Rods/Vitara build for my friend and the complete bottom end rebuild kit/package was less than $750.

 

CR with the standard length rods depends on your cylinder head.

i would shave the block and call it a day if you really dont wana spend the loot on FJT custom length rods.
