stroker question
i just bought a 95 hatch and am gonna replace the motor with either a b16 sir2 or a gsr engine and i am planning on turboing it around christmas time...is it smart to get a whole stroker kit b4 i turbo it or should i just do like pistons and rods and not get the whole package...and if so does anyone have any advice to give me on companies and places to go?
Best suggestion is to do one or the other and do it in its entirity. Swap with basic FI setup and then build would be the best production route to choose, i think you would be more pleased with, plus youll gain more knowlege and then you will know exactly what you want out of your motor build
stroking along with boost may create some undesierable traction problems on a street honda. you can get plenty of power with the stock crank. and just upgrades rods and pistons.
