Default is the stroke from an LS same as in B20?

The LS I know has more stroke than a b18c. (torque) the b20 has more displacement...but does the b20 also have the same stroke as the LS or the shorter stroke like the b18c? the reason why I ask is because. I need to decide on what block to find. Bore, sleeve and find pistons for.i want to get the biggest bore and most stroke out of a B series for turbo without doing a block extension

b20 cranks are the same as ls. only difference in the blocks is bore and sleeve material.

B18AB block 84mm bore, 89mm LS/B20 crank. about 2.0L Done!
Thats all you need for a turbo setup. Don't make it any more complicated.

B18A/B all the same.

OP, here's your answer. 2.0L of displacement should be plenty.

/thread.

More importantly...what are your power goals, and plans for the car?

i have a gsr bottom end now with about 350 on 10lbs. i would like at least 600hp. and do 10s. and i would like to try 25lbs but on a bottom end with alot of potential. and id rather not mess with the b18c bottom end cuz il keep it for a back up.
that way i wont street drive it like an idiot id just park it in the garage until i go to the track.

Get an LS block. Most sleeve manufactures prefer not to sleeve B20 blocks. GE will do it but prefer to sleeve LS's.
