striped trans mount bolt

Default striped trans mount bolt


what should i do that one bolt is striped woud be fine just running 2

lol I did the same thing when I got solid mounts....the mounts were thicker than stock and the stock bolt was too short and not enough threads were in the hole when I started torqueing it down apparently. Anyway, you should be fine with just 2. However did you consider getting a tapping kit and tapping the threads? Or even a chaser kit and chasing the threads and ordering a longer bolt from ARP?

put all of the bolts in there

you can get a metric heli coil kit at your local autoparts store. if you dont want to heli coil it, get out your tap and die set, tap it, and then go to the hardware store for a bolt/washer of proper size and length.

i might try to find heli coil wish me luck have not seen any this big that i can remember

what thread pattern is the thransmission mount bolt? pretty sure its a m12 x 1.25
