Strength of Chromoly Retainers
Been wondering about chromoly retainers for a while now. But haven't found any real usefull info about them. I'm planning on probably getting some Supertech valve springs for my d16z6.
I have a set of NEW OEM retainers that I was planning on using, but then wasn't sure if they had the strength. So I was wondering if anyone knows if Chromoly retainers are stronger or are the same as the OEM retainers.
I'm planning on running the Zex 59300 cam, Supertech valve springs, and Supertech valves.
Should I stick with OEM or get Chromoly?
