Default Storing motor while deployed for 1 year

Well, it's time to go to Iraq again.

Does anybody have some advice on how to store my fully built bottom end for roughly a year while I'm gone?

I'd wd40 the valves too, i've got a car in my shop right now that's been sitting for a few years and the motor was rebuilt back then and never run. There is rust on the back side of the valves and god knows where else.

When I packed away a motor I WD40'd anything that normally moves and gets lubrication. I think you can go underkill on protection, but it's hard to go overkill. Good luck over there dude, I'm not a fan of the war but I can really respect anyone who's job description involves the chance of getting your *** shot at on a daily basis.

Someone I work with told me to use what boat engines use.
Its called fogging oil, he says it works very well and its around 5$ a can.
