I've searched and seen many, just wanted to get a thread started like some of the others on this site. Like the nitrous thread, the stock sleeve b20 all motor thread etc...

b18b1

stock internals
stock transmission
revhard stage 2 turbo kit
numbers unknown
lasted about 3k miles due to shop installation error on 5 psi. the idiots used teflon tape on the oil line and eventually the turbo ate itself.

new setup should be a beast shoooting for 650hp+. this time im doing the hard work and only trusting myself.

forgot to add the old setup is my avatar pic

being that the winter is right around the corner and the tracks near me are approaching there closing time. im selling the eg coupe shell and focusing on 1 build. i was building a track car on the side. but my track car has become my 1 and only focus. ill be putting my stock sleeve set up in there till it goes and its time to sleeve and upgrade to big boy stuff. so the set up i listed above will be going into my 98 civic hatchback DX which has a 10pt roll cage. originally i was building that hatch to compete in sfwd and true street but with not having much experience driving with crazy amount of power like the cars in that class are making ill start small and work my way up. hopefully the motor makes the amount of power i have in mind and i get into racing as soon as next season opens get some seat time and make my way to 10.50index. my fuel set up will be changing to a fcs fab 5gal fuel tank with dual bosch 044's... will keep everyone updated on my build and outcome...

it was on a small setup for one year (around 500whp), and its been on this setup for a season. I dont rev the car too far and timing is super conservative. Knock on wood damnit LoL!

Hows the spool on the sc34? I have the same pistons so Id bet were close compression wise and im debating getting a sc34 or something smaller. I want it to spool fast I dont really care about top end since its a daily.

SC34=57 trim Garrett T3/T4. Compare the type of engine you have with that turbocharger and you'll have your answer. Plenty of people running those on here.

For what I'm using it for it's fine. Spool is good and full boost at like 4,300 or something close to that. It's the first turbo I bought when I started getting into boost and I got a crackhead price on it since my friend wrecked his car and parted it. If it wasn't for me buying a bad block this money would be going to a new manifold-downpipe-turbo this winter. I guess that'll be next year now or who knows by then.
