Default Stock retainers vs. Titanium Retainers

I've hit a fork in the I'm prepping a b16 head for a turbo daily driver setup. I dont intend to rev the motor past 8,000 with stock cams and boost around 15-18psi or 350whp max. I ordered some EF-1 valvesprings but since I'm running stock cams and keeping the rpms at stock 8k would I be safe with stock retainers? I hear alot about titanium retainers wear and stock retainers crack...

thx

If the stocks are in good condition, then keep them...not revving over 8k you will be fine stocks are good to 10k...

screw it.
titaniums only last roughly 20k miles from what Ive read.
thats why those n/a guys are "experimenting" with diff coatings to try and help them last longer.
