Default Stock Map sensor and 3 bar map sensor

I have a stock map sensor, and I'm trying to start my car, but the car has a Hondata S200B with a 3 bar map sensor map. It doesn't seem to want to run, and I was told I'd need to either get the Hondata recalibrated for the stock map sensor, or wire in a 3 bar.

I thought the stock map sensor read 0-11, and the 3 bar read 0-30. If this is the case, shouldn't the stock map sensor run fine just to fire up the car, and have it idle, even though the Hondata is set for 3 bar?

Thanks!

You need to have the map calibrated for whatever sensor you are running.

It doesn't work like you said.

Just curious why? It reads a different way?

I have the Hondata software... can I disable the 3 bar map sensor, and go back to stock with the software, or does it have to be reprogrammed?

No. The voltages are scaled differently so while the stock map says say 3 volts at 5 PSI the 3 bar will so 1.8 volts and 5PSI. That's why it won't work. You HAVE to get a new chip burned or plug in the 3 bar

Thanks... I'll just break down and spend the $30 on a 3 bar
