how does the stock lsd performes onder boost??? i have a jdm b16 lsd and im thinking about esing it for my boost setup

 

i rocked an itr lsd in my gsr tranny, 400whp for well over a year...no issues.

It will work just fine.

yea, I would think they would hold up pretty well. I guess it depends a lot on driving style and how much torque you are pushing. Will you be doing a lot of racing? autox, track, or dragstrip? For a DD with occasional WOT I think you should be fine

 

i rocked my buddies itr hatch down the track 10.9@132 on a stock itr tranny, with stock axles. 496whp, 1.6 sixty foots on 24.5" slicks. been handling it great. car is also daily driven.

 

ITR trany's are the **** they could hold over +500hp no problem

is going to be a daily driver and maybe some track time from time to time

 

It will be fine man. We had a local itr trannied 2.0 lsv making 565 running 10.30's with no problems.

Car was built in 05, still running around today.

 

Everyone here is talking about the stock itr lsd which is very different then the b16 jdm lsd you have which is a viscous type. I do not think it will perform as well as the itr model.

you got a point there jimmy!!!! then whats special about the itr lsd?

 

can anybody explain the difference between the JDM ITR LSD and the JDM B16A LSD

 

my buddy has a stock b16 tranny with the optional lsd and he has run it for 20000 miles and he makes 302whp. NO PROBLEMS

 

can i use the b16 lsd with my ls internals???
