Default stock fuel pump with 440cc injectors?

I´ve heard that the stock fuel pump at 50psi is good for about 350hp but on 80psi only for 200hp. That is why we all use stronger fuel pumps for the stock injectors b/c the stock fuel pump will not supply enough fuel.

With 440cc I need only a fuel pressure of 50-55psi and when my logical thinking is right I can use my stock fuel pump again.

Are there benefits of using the stocker? Selling the high flow would make some money

you might be able to get away with the stock but why risk it if you alrady have the good fuel pump. BTW, if you're going to sell your 310's I have a friend that will be interested in them.

i thought the stock ecu could only compensate for 310's or 370's w/ a apexi safc/vafc or a fields unit? otherwise youd need a standalone to keep thos injectors in check w/ 440's....correct me if i'm wrong.

actually you can use the VAFC,sAFC etc type controllers to control injectors up to 550+ cc It just that its not reliable that way. its much better to control the injectors with pulse controller that is based on map.

I THOUGHT the apexi's got their signal from the map sensor? or are you talkin about the "fuel map"

apexi vafc/safc is not based on a map singal from the map sensor. It based on tuning of rpm throught the band. Kinda ghetto actulyl for a turbo car. Great on NA car to tune the fuel curver out but not on turbo car that is gonna boost alot.

He's not running the 440's off of the stock ECU, he was getting a Haltech.

What kind of power are you putting down? If you're just going to use the stock pump, I would at least get 550cc injectors.
