mine made 295whp on a mustang dyno. Lasted about 4 years (40K miles), then a couple of ringlands finally popped. I'm pretty impressed that it lasted that long.

The most I would go is 12psi, but thats pushing it. A conservative boost level would be 8psi. I personally would go 10 psi, should net right under 300hp on a dynojet.

what turbo are you basing that on?? 10psi will make 300whp is a pretty broad statement....it really depends on the turbo you're using. To the OP, what is your setup?

You're right it is a broad statement.

I said right under 300, which I would say around 280hp to be more exact.
I based this off of my old build which used the most common turbo IMO. the t3/t4oe 57trim.

As long as it's perfectly tuned by someone who knows what they doing I don't see why 10 psi isn't possible. With all the new technology out there like Crome, Hondata, Neptune etc. High compression guys can also enjoy boost.

So true, the tune is so vital to the longevity of your engine. I would say it is the key thing to keeping an engine running.

...my 9.7:1 pistons should come in today!
