Default Sticky Idea

I've noticed that there are a lot of fundamental turbocharging questions have been asked. I think it would be a good idea if we started a sticky for FI that had links to good sites or threads on the subject, and even recommended readings like Corky Bell's Maximum Boost. What do you guys think?

Then why bother ever having any stickys at all?

I agree with BlackKnight7 that this is exactly the sort of thing that you would want a sticky for. It's either that or hear the same basic questions get asked over and over again. Your choice! enjoy

Yeah thats why I had the idea. It can take a lot of time to search and find exactly what one needs. If there was a sticky w/good site links, like http://www.howstuffworks.com for instance, good books on the subject, and even good threads, it would be much easier to find exactly what one is looking for.

I just thought it would be a good idea because experienced people would not have to answer the same questions over and over. And the less experienced people could find answers to their questions quicker and more easily.

Well, c'mon people, lets hear your opinions. I think a sticky with links to previous topics is an especially good idea . When someone says "yeah, I saw that discussed a while back, search for it", and it was 2 or 3 years ago, it'll take FOREVER to find it. And who is tired of hearing questions like "what is AFC?" or "Uberdata vs Turboedit vs Ghettodyne vs blah, blah, blah"? You'll keep hearing it forever unless there is a sticky for it and the FI forum is where it belongs.

Thanks for the support man.

Aren't any of you tired of answering the same questions over and over again. Saying search for it hasn't really helped that much has it? I mean people still keeping asking the same things over and over again. A sticky would certainly help this out.

I dont like stickies at all even if people are sponsors. It makes the forum very cluttered.

yup, just use the SEARCH feature people.

No need for a bunch of stickies.

Maybe we should just start locking all the repetitive threads, cuz im getting sick of answering the same questions and seeing every other thread "what standalone?" or "what turbo setup?"

Its soooo easy, search for it. there isnt anything you can think of that someone else hasnt
