Can't figure out problem with v-afc and turbo
The problem is I get a constant poping and hesitation from the engine with anything pass 5000rpm. Im running a B18b, 5psi (t3/t04e), v-afc hack, 450 DSM injectors. My settings are 1-2k Rpm~ -25 and 3k up Rpm~ -23. If I set the vafc settings any lower the car stumbles and wants to stall. I've taking it to the dyno just 2 days ago and I couldn't get the AF ratio under a 13.1. Anyone have any ideas to whats going on?

Yeah it sounds ignition related, check all ignition components and spark plug gap

Shouldnt the afc numbers be more in the lower 30's from like 1-3k, lke mid 30's till like 4-5k and the high 30's low 40's in the high rpms?? Im just goin off on how my afc settings are roughly....but with the settings you have its very rich, try re-adjusting, it might help a lot.......

Re: Can't figure out problem with v-afc and turbo (TravSi)
are you trying to run a missing link / check valves with the afc hack? because, you can't.....
secondly, your setup's problem def sounds ignition related, try cap + rotor replacement. Tell us more detail on your setup / hack etc.

Thanks everyone for your replies. The problem was this wiring diagram I found off ClubSi.com on wiring up a resister box.
The cause was not having enough ground to the resister box from the harness side of the yellow/black wire. The diagram instructed me to use any ONE of the yellow/black wires from the harness back to the resister box. I went ahead and wired up all four grounds to the resister box. Problem solved and its pulling stronger than ever
