Default step deck vs o-ring

Could some one tell me the difference? I want to have my block sleeved soon and I just want to know what I need to do. I'll also be wanting to bore out the cyclinders 2mm, this is for a H22 so from 87mm to 89mm. What kind headgasket would I be looking for?

A step deck block is when the sleeve is a little bit higher to seal better. An o-ring is a little copper ring on top of the sleeve that also helps sealing. Which one is better depends on who you talk to, I don't have first hand experiance with them, so I won't recommend which is better. I hope that explains the difference between the two.
