steel braided line really needed?
im using a fuel line for my oil feed and return. my friend at a Honda dealer told me im lucky that my oil feed line hasnt blown up because the feed line has like over 100 foot pounds of pressure and that i NEEDED steel braided line for it. do i really NEED it? they are kinda spendy and i never really understood all that AN fitting and stuff. i dont care what u guys prefer, just need to know if i NEED to replace my fuel line with steel braided line for oil feed.

what is the fuel line rated to in pressure? my goodyear lines are only rated to 50lbs. would i want to run 80lbs through it.. NO!!! Also i'd switch just for the fact that the mani and turbo get super hot, and i wouldn't want to melt that rubber hose.

Re: steel braided line really needed? (dustin)
I have my oil pressure sensor on a sandwhich adapter which also has my oil feed. At WOT it sees around 80psi. So YES please replace it with a steel braded line for peace of mind. They also don't cost that much, Stan @ fast-turbo.com will have what u need as well as many other sponsors on this board.

i will just confirm cause i have seen what can happen and it is not pretty. especially when the line is running through a runner on a manifold. 50 bucks for a stainless line or stranded on the side of a road. trust me its ugly
