Default Starting motor for first time.

Hi! I was just wondering if it would be a bad idea to start my motor that was just rebuilt for the first time with the turbo installed or should I put my old header on for the first start?

Thanks!

go ahead and start it, just unplug the distributor and crank it for about a minute to bring up the oil pressure, then hook it back up.

How do you know if the oil pressure is up?

the light in the dash will go out. crank it for about one minute with the plugs out. this should be sufficient.
