Default Stalling/Idling issues... AEM content...

Tried posting this in the tech section and barely even got a view so I'll post here hoping someone can help out.
Hey guys, I've done alot of searching on this over the past few days and can't seem to find any real answers.
I have a 95 GSR in a 99 civic, it has a conversion harness for obd1 and we are running a 30-1000 ecu.
We have tried numerous things in the program to get it to idle but nothing seems to work. My tuner is very confortable with the AEM software and prefers to use it but we still can't figure out this problem.
We know it isn't an issue with the software as if you take the ecu out of my car, plug it into his h22 with 1200cc injectors, transfer over his map it runs fine.(we even tried the old and new software and no difference) Same with my buddies car with an almost identical setup, put MY map in the ecu and plug it into his car and it idles perfect.
I took the idle solenoid out and cleaned it all up and tested it to see if it was moving properly and it works fine, was a bit dirty but after cleaning it up it was still doing the same thing. There seems to be no vacuum leaks as it doesn't try to idle high it just wants to quit unless you let it idle at 2000+rpm. Any ideas, and thanks for the time!?
And lastly the weird thing that gets me is if I put my chipped crome ecu in my car it runs and idles without problems down around 900-1000rpm? I'm lost what do you guys think, anyone come across issues like this?

lol

I have the same issue. I have a 87 accord converted obd1. It will run perfectly fine with a p75 even while turning on ac and other things. as soon as we put in the aem (30-1040) it doesnt want to hold an idle anywhere under 1500-1600 rpm and stalls.

Have you tried setting up your idle the way its explained in the instructions?

Setting the "Idle Target base table" at about 3000 rpm then adjusting the "idle vs target table" until you get 0% in the idle learned value in the "Parameters" section and keep dropping the "idle target base table" 500 rpms at a time acroos the chart and adjusting the other board accordingly until each time the idle learned value is back to or as close to 0 as possible. (hell of a run-on) keep on doing that until you reach like 5 or 600 rpm. after that you should be able to move the "idle target base table to whatever rpm you want and it should sit at exactly where you put it.

If you've already done all that then you and I might be in the same boat. (well I had badly burned valves last time I tried so that could have been the issue)

If you ever do figure something else out please let me know. I need a good aem tuner in the FL area.
