exhaust leak at turbo

exhaust leak at turbo
ok I got an exhaust leak right were the turbo and the down pipe connect what type of material can i use for this that wont dry out or burn off, turbo is an td04e with the 5 bolt flange, thank in advance

try making your own gasket with the thickest pad you can get. I don't know how long it will last though. I made one for my car but has only been on there for a about 1000 miles.

The flange can be warped w/o looking warped - all it takes is a 1/64th of an inch to push exhaust gas out and make noise. You could get a stainless ribbed gasket off ebay for cheap.
First you'd have to figure out what the turbo really is - garrett or mitsubishi. Using a 'D' in the name is not really how they do it any longer. And Mitsu turbos shouldn't have an 'E' at the end. Sounds like you have a garrett t3/t04e hybrid. The t3 (hotside) is what you want to look at - there are actually 3 different sizes for the 5-bolt, although the 'Ford SVO' is the most common.
