Spoon Ventuli Plate and NITROUS !!
OK, I have done all the searching, etc. and came up with nothing. Here is my situation. I am running a B16a2 w/ upgraded valvetrain, ITR cams, rechipped Kenji ECU, stock bottom end, CTR TB, and ITR Mani, plus the basic bolt ons. I also have a Ventuli plate installed. And am quite happy with it. My motor, though untuned at the moment ( and running rich ) pulls strong from 3000 all the way to 9000.
This upcoming weekend I would like to install my Direct Port tapped ITR manifold. The nitrous and fuel will be injected past the Ventuli plate; will this cause corrosion, freezing, or any other damage to it?? Right now the shot is set to 85, and I have all the ignition and fuel bases covered. But I am worried about the Plate, maybe breaking apart and being injested by the motor.
The plate is some type of flexible material, and while it can withstand the temperatures of the head, can it resist the coldness of the nitrous??

ventulli plate ..bleh.
Your car probably would pull harder to redline without it..(but of course midrange would suffer)
