SPOON MUFFLER?
i was thinking about buying a spoon (replica) muffler, just the muffler itself welded onto my 2.5 catback. Will my car make a lot of fart noises or quieter than usual...? it's a turbo D btw... sound clips would help... thanks in advance.

my authentic spoon muffler sounds pretty on my gsr with full 2.5" exhaust both when it was na and on boost. and i love the way it looks. I dunno if the replicas sound the same or not if they do then you should be good to go. the next thing you have to worry about is it becoming a resitriction. turbos dont like 60mm mufflers much. im planning on going full 3" shortly.

Re: SPOON MUFFLER? (prototype2)
Every exhaust system is going to sound different unless the setup is exactly the same, cat, resonator etc make the difference expecially when wondering about mufflers that are straight through. For the most part most straight through mufflers sound alike, its the other factors that change sound.
