Default Spoon Exhaust on a Boosted car

For a 99 Civic Si at 6.5 Psi ....is it a good idea or should I just keep the stock one on?

Personally I would go see a muffler shop about maybe doing a custom 2.5" or 3" custom exhaust for you, and using a magnaflow muffler. Or see 2kTeg about some of his exhaust choices, like thermal or another one he has going on sale right now in the FI Classifieds.

It looks like it got locked, but PM him I am sure he can hook you up.

So do you already have a Spoon exhaust or are you planning on buying one? If your planning on buying one, save your money and go elsewhere. If you already have one- its better than stock- but not for turbo..

Go with a 2.5" for lower boost applications.. Thermal makes a nice 3" but it gets loud at times..

there was an S2000 that dyno'd this past weekend with the spoon exhaust and a comptech supercharger. it was good for 307whp on a mustang dyno. i guess it cant be all that bad

I already ordered it ....and the only thing that made me buy it was that I seen a RSX Type S in a parking lot and it had it and it looked so nice. Oh and I got it for 275 Brand new.

You will get gains over stock, but not as much as a 3" full cat back exhaust system. I think Spoon only makes axle backs.
