i'm building my hmt kit and looking to use the greddy tdo5h 16g turbo. but what i want to know is where i can get a compressor map and where spooling starts on this turbo if anybody knows? looking to start spooling at ~3300 and not lose power at the top end. will this turbo be good for me? and if not what other turbo's do you recomend?

i'm gonna use the tdo5h 16g but now to another question... is the housing too big even with an a/c compatible manifold to clear the a/c? i'm using slimline fans

 

There are 2 16Gs. I believe Greddy uses the "big 16G". That is mainly used on their mitsubishi upgrade kits. The 16G is not the same as the 18G.

You will definately see boost by that rpm. What are you revving to?

 

my limiter is ~7.3 so i'll probably only rev to ~6.5

 

My old e3-16g held to 7k no problem.

I have a Small 16g compressor with a 10cm turbine housing.
In 4th gear on a DX trans at 15psi, I have 272hp and 240 torque. I have over 200 torque from 3900-7000rpm...
