because garrett decided to make them public domain. i believe they are the actual designers of the compressor wheels.
i think the turbo market is more competitive in japan, with IHI, KKK, and mitsubishi competing to sell turbos, so they keep their designs proprietary.
theres not much else but garrett here. someone correct me if i am wrong, or if there are more manufacturers.

falconGSR...thks for the reply man....I can understand what ur saying...one thing though...I was able to find compressor maps for the 16g and the 20g....but not the 18g...any reason for that?? is the 18g on mitsubishi vehicles now or something?

greddy/garrett will not relase the turbo specs info as well as Apexi.
Everyone has been trying to find flow charts for the 15g and 18g used in the kits but I personally have not see either one in my past 3 years.
