After talking with Mac I decided to go with the silver surfer. Now I'm trying to decide what manifold to run. I really like the shorty style of the quick 4 ac. Does anyone heard good or bad about this manifold or can make recommendations?
I ran a similar SLS manifold and loved it for the street...the ONLY complaint I had is the oil return can be tricky if the turbo sits too low. That is entirely dependent on specific manifold design.

from me - no complaints at all.

Spoolin Quick4 doesn't compare directly to an InlinePro - The Quick4 has a true collector and will have less turbulent flow at higher rpms. The InlinePro is fine, but its a log manifold underneath. For $100 extra, I'd get the Quick4 or a shorty ramhorn every time over the InlinePro
im also looking to get quick 4 ac from spooling and was wondering if you guys had any pics of how it would sit with the down pipe and and the compressor. anything would be greatly appreciated. found some but didn't show much. thanks

There isn't much out there, but here's a few pictures from Project_DC2 (aka Phil at SPoolin)

Mines got cracks between each runner/port but with that said, it's been on the motor 9yrs, countless miles and doesnt cause any performance issues in terms of heavy exhaust leaks....I should get it rewelded at the very least but I bought a SPA topmount thats going into my new setup here later this year so I might keep the SP log as a back-up manifold....
inlinepro cast manifold is solid and good value.
you won't have to worry about oil return line slope.
I don't recall ever seeing any data as to compare their manifold to a mini-ram.
I'm sure a decent designed miniram might free up a few poinies above 6500rpms or so but not signifcant enough to completely turn away from the inlinepro unit.
Most miniram manifolds use a pretty short collector unlike fullram, topmount, forwardfacing manifolds which use longer collectors which provide better topend flow. I think i've only see 1 miniram using longer collector... custom i believe.

Mac told me I may run into some flow problems with it if I upgraded cams. I may stick with gsr or itr cams since it's a street car. Kinda hard to pass up the value for 200 shipped. I'll build my own dp. That's 600 dollars to go toward the turbo
here's my miniram setup from 2yrs ago...

oil return line job from local shop... um really? lol

No seriously...

So far my best solution is pushlock fitttings/hose with crimps for insurance. Good amount of flex and plenty strong.

right on
as much as i love to get the "best" of everything... i'm a realist and drive a damn honda...so yeah, just stay clear of having a "cheapo" mentality and you should be able to easily build a solid setup without overspending.

You won't get disappointed from both Mac and Phil of Spoolin'. You're in good hands.
Another Spoolin' Quick4AC/ Surfer sertup here.

As mentioned earlier, the oil return line, water supply lines and rad and fan gets a bit tricky but absolutely doable.

Thank you guys for the pictures and link to that thread which also led me to others I was able to learn a lot from lowlude and others. I now have a better understanding of what to expect with different manifolds and turbos I will make my decision this weekend and will post up pics of my ac setup after its received to help others get a better view of clearances. Thanks.
