Spoolin log manifold
Does anyone have a picture of this manifold on their car? Also how did you route the charge piping. Im debating on wether or not to use a sideways type fmic or not. If anyone has experience with this manifold that would be awesome for you to chime in!

Middle of page 8 there. Go through the whole thread before asking your next question. (I have a feeling I know what they're going to be.)

i dont have any pics , but my buddy had 1 on his car and he hated it, try to check your oil with that manifold is a pain, and it doesnt really flow enough for 400whp, so i built him a dual 38 equal lenght ramhorn best thing we ever done to the car 23whp difference at 10psi

you're comparing apples to oranges. He nevers recommends a log for anything over 350 whp and at that type of power range, of course a ramhorn will increase in power. the log he provides is simply a low budget item that can account for different price points. Tell me this, did your friend not buy it cuz he wanted a simple setup/ budget build ? Certainly, if he was looking to make 400+ WHP he wouldn't have even started with an entry level manifold design.

Re: Spoolin log manifold
you know what i really can't figure out. how the f'k did inline pro make the power they did with their logs?
since we're on that subject.
when i started doing turbo research i noticed that, thought, wow, cast and whp. best of both worlds right? so i buy in inline pro but it's still a cast log with short runners

Re: Spoolin log manifold
Shodan how do you know everything? I was unable to see how he routed his charge piping from the compressor to the intercooler. I wanted to use an fmic like this http://www.godspeedproject.com/shop/...roducts_id=175
Like so.
You then get the correct piping from THE SAME SOURCE as the manifold to ensure proper fitment or similar.
Then just stay the f*ck away from Godspeed **** altogether .

tigged log manifold with a sc61 on it, the welds looked allright and i know it really aint made for 400 but that is also 1 of the reasons it got sold, he bought it off a buddy for cheap and sold it for enough to get all the stuff to build the other manifold, and yes he did buy it as a budget build, but we all know boost is adictive

Here's my old setup from years ago...
I went with an A/C compatible DP, so I routed my charge piping this way. It was kinda crooked going to the IC, but that's because of the long exhaust housing from Borg Warner turbo. The pics make it difficult to see, but these are all I had of the old setup.

LOL yeah, that was quite some time ago. And I appreciate the turbine housing & wheel swap and rebalance. Great work, as always.
