Please dont flame, but my friend has his old turbo off of his 1990 mx6 and he said something about the direction of the spool is wrong and it would never work in my car? Let me know, and if it matters at all which i dont think it does, it's in a b18a crx, but i'm thinkin it's all b.s.

 

call your friend up and tell him he needs to read some more about turbos!

but, i probably wouldn't think about putting that old of a turbocharger on my car, as it would be nearing the end of it's life. It'd be more worth your time to go with a new or re-built unit from cheapturbo.com or precision.

 

he said something about the intake being on the right side and that would mess everyting up?

You just need to do the plumbing to compensate ...no biggie.... tell your frien to do some research.

 

personally i would like it more this way, because i've got a dsm smic on the pass side, so...less pipe/work imo
