I know nothing about these rods, but I would avoid them for the sheer fact that they are missing material (probably to reduce weight) but I am sure it sacrificed strength. Just go with eagle, they look the exact same, and I'm sure are cheaper.

$150 cheaper then eagles....bend a rod and ruin your freshly built block, not cheaper at all. When rebuilding reliability is WAY more important then about $150

How do you know a rod would bend? Eagle rods are probably forged in the same foundry in China, lol. Most of the cranks, rods, etc are all poured and machined in China, some just get touched up here in the US. The big dollar parts are made here 100%, but they're overkill for what most of us do.

I think I might order a set of rods just to check out. If I don't like them, they have a 1 year warranty, no questions asked. I might be out $20 for shipping.

not saying it will i just would not trust or recomend it. its quite evident that the eagles have more material to them, even IF they used the same material. Why fuss over a small amount of money when eagles have been proven so many times. There not gonna replace your block or any other parts that get ruined if it happens to fail

I've come across cheap rods that are similar to these and they also have cheap fasteners, FYI.

I still have the bolts in a drawer.... There is a significant difference in finish quality alone.

The rods may have been forged the same factory but the cost is cut down with sub-par machine work and cheap hardware. By the time you re-machine (if possible) the rods and upgrade hardware you have ruined the "deal"

The pictures would only upload from my phone one at a time and do not do justice to the poor quality.

Thank you everyone for your input. I have never heard of the company or seen the product. The rods looked a lot like Brian Crower I beam design and I was just curious if anyone has had any experience with the company because supposedly they have been established since 1979.

Other than the hollow bottom, those are picture perfect ARP knockoffs.

I mean on the thread side. It looks at least partially hollow. The ARP hardware I ordered for my Eagle rods was solid from end to end.

First build? The dimple is used hold the gauge when you measure rod bolt stretch, ARP has the dimple too.

The pics of that rod bolt shows rolled threads nut cut. Cut threads are better in terms of strength. The ARP I've seen are cut threads.

You've got that backwards, rolled threads are stronger.

It does look more like a bore than a dimple. The ARP stuff is generally more shallow. Maybe it's the lighting or something.

First build, no. A dimple, yes. Maybe it's just the shadow, but that looks less like a dimple and more like a straight up hole.
