Default Spearco Boost Gauge

i just installed my boost gauge today and i used to have the cobalt boost gauge which was electrical . i notice that this spearco gauge seems a lil off. like for instance when it should be 20 vac its like 23 or so. when im boosting 9 psi it only went to like 7. what can make it be off like that? its grounded, its lit up and i have the vac line going to it. is there a common problem with spearco boost gauges? are they ****?
