Yeah, I get to test some OBD0 ignition cut revlimit code shortly, was thinking about dialing the fuel a bit rich and seeing if flames shoot out the open downpipe...
I dunno if it'll work without killing the turbo. Not that I care, the big one is on the way.

Programmable Launch Rev Limiter
Too much power can actually be a hindrance when it comes to hooking up a small tire or the prop of a drag boat. For anyone with this “problem” the Programmable Launch Limiter is the answer. Improve your 60-foot times through precise timing and rpm control.
Easy to program from a PC with MSD’s Pro-Data+ Windows based software or with the optional Hand Held Monitor.
Quick microcontroller produces a smooth rev limiting action.
This microprocessor controlled Limiter plugs in place of an rpm module in an MSD Ignition or Soft Touch unit. You can then go in and program a launch based rpm ramp based on rpm and time. This is set in 100 rpm steps down to 0.001-second increments by using MSD’s Pro-Data+ software on a PC or with the optional Hand Held Monitor, PN 7550. There is also an adjustment that sets a delay time before the rpm limit activates. This way, when you launch the rpm limit will kick in exactly when you want it to and ramp up to your race rpm for the rest of the run.
This Limiter can be used with any of MSD’s Rev Controls that use the plug-in rpm modules. The Pro-Data+ software is supplied or can be downloaded here.

Stunna, VSS based fuel cut rev limit is already extant, the ignition cut variant for OBD1 is in the works.
If you brought me a goddamn ECU you wouldn't be bitching so much Bring me a spare 92+ D16 intake manifold, too, will you?

why not just get a Hondata instead? By the time ya finish paying for all that msd stuff and anything else needed to support it, you could have already gotten a hondata and been done with it.

Ummm yeah. Hondata sucks *** in the way they offer 2step/boost cut. It cuts fuel and not spark. So yeah, lets all use it and hurt our engines
Anyhow. I love how my car shoots flames off the AEM 2step (although if I had it dialed in better it shouldnt). Especially with the e-cutout dumping the flames out from under the drivers side door! Badass!!!

With the AEM 2-step, can you use it to dump in extra fuel as well, or is it just an MSD 2-step fuel cut deal?

Re: (boosted92)
MSD is ignition cut. AEM offers 2 ways to run the 2 step....off a switch or programmed in---the switch way is better though. The aem must be programmed as to when it cuts ign and fuel in 2 seperate parameters.
