Re: sparkplugs for turbo accord? (DLB1994)
Didn't run lean, the plug failed, started to glow and caused detonation. Luckily no other damages. No signs of pinging/lean mix in other cylinders, tested all 8 injectors, all OK.
Failed while playing with throttle at 230km/h and harrassing a golf VR6. Minor chance of temporary lean mix is possible. Never tuned this situation (0.5bar boost, pumping throttle, 4000rpm)
-Stock system with Haltech F9 by side with 4 250cc/min injectors
-Missing link ml002
-GarrettT04 60/48
-0.8bar boost
-All external parts custom by me

Re: sparkplugs for turbo accord? (repo)
typical spark plugs for forced induction hondas are the ngk bkr7e11 which are colder plugs
look on ngk site and they have one step or two step colder plugs

Are those similar plugs with "long" electrode?
There were another plug also with broken "internals", but it hadn't melted. I think the major reason for this was the long reaching structure of the electrodes added with too hot temperature value.
